GP in the Community
Greensboro Pediatrician’s physicians are active, engaged participants in the surrounding community. We think it’s important to love the community our patients live in, so we make an effort to sponsor charitable events and activities that positively affect Greensboro and Guilford County. Initiatives we’ve sponsored in the past include the Greensboro Children’s Museum and Heart Strings. This year, we’re stepping outside of the box with a new initiative: the Greensboro Science Center and the Carolina SciQuarium.
Not only does Greensboro Pediatricians love kids, we also know what kids love: Animals! That’s why we are sponsoring an African Penguin at the new Carolina SciQuarium in Greensboro! Her name is Tux, and she has already made quite a name for herself. Be sure to check her out when you visit.
Why would a pediatric medicine practice decide to sponsor a penguin? Greensboro Pediatricians is committed to making a difference in the lives of children in Guilford County. The Carolina SciQuarium offers a fantastic way for children of all ages to learn about our world, and we believe in the priceless value of education.
