After finishing medical school at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Tucker completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She and her husband recently relocated to Burlington, NC. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics. Associate Clinical Professor at UNC-CH School of Medicine.

“I chose pediatrics for so many reasons. I love the honesty, resilience, and fresh insight on the world that children have. I love getting to know parents and families and watching them grow together. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of that journey with families. I really can’t imagine doing anything else.”

When she isn’t busy at work she loves spending time with her husband Jeff, and their black lab, Lola. They love being outdoors and enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping both in the mountains and at the beach. They also enjoy working together in the yard at home and going to church.

Some fun facts about Dr. Tucker:
Her first job: playing harp for weddings with her sister playing violin while only in the 5th grade
Talent I would like to have: to play the cello
Favorite Food: Greek or Mediterranean
Hero: My great grandmother who taught me to play piano. She was a very independent and intelligent woman who studied piano in France, travelled the world on her own, grew beautiful flowers, fruits and vegetables in her garden, and made the world’s best fried chicken and strawberry rhubarb pie.
