Mallory Patterson, CPNP-AC

Mallory obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing locally, from UNC-Greensboro, and has had the privilege to work with pediatric patients since beginning her career in 2010.  As a bedside nurse, she got to fully appreciate the art of caring and compassion that is the center of nursing practice.  After years of working to master that art, she became more and more intrigued with the “medicine” side of things, or rather the management of disease processes affecting our pediatric patients.  Thus, she obtained her Masters of Science in Acute Care Pediatric Nursing from Duke University.  She is a board certified acute care pediatric nurse practitioner.  “I feel my role as a provider, in addition to, my nursing background provides me with a unique opportunity to combine the art of caring and the science of medicine to help the most precious, vulnerable population in our ever changing world: our children”
