Rina Mehta, MDRina Mehta, MDDr. Rina Mehta joined our practice in July 2021. Dr. Mehta received her Bachelor of Science in Physiology & Neurology from the University of Connecticut, graduating magna cum laude and went on to earn her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and is an active member of the American Academy of Pediatrics. She is also multilingual in the languages of English, Gujarati, Spanish, and understands basic Hindi. Outside of work Dr. Mehta enjoys reading, traveling, hiking, and trying new recipes & restaurants. “What attracts me the most about primary care pediatrics is the ability to form longitudinal relationships. Nothing provides me greater satisfaction than the ability to support and treat children through healthcare services and see them transform into healthy human beings in society. I would like to be a source of guidance and reassurance to families and I promise to work diligently to earn their trust. I look forward to participating in collaborative care with my patients and their respective families.” |

Nicole Pritt, MDDr. Nicole Pritt joined our practice in August of 2021. She earned her bachelor’s degree at Harvard University and a medical degree at Eastern Virginia Medical School. Endya Frye, MD, FAAPDr. Endya L. Frye, a native of Greensboro, NC is excited to come back to serve her community. She earned her medical degree from the Brody School of Medicine at East Carolina University (BSOM) and completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina Hospitals. Dr. Frye is also proud graduate of North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) where she received her Bachelor of Science in Biology. Elizabeth Tucker, MD, FAAPAfter finishing medical school at Emory University School of Medicine, Dr. Tucker completed her pediatric residency at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She and her husband recently relocated to Burlington, NC. She is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics. Associate Clinical Professor at UNC-CH School of Medicine. “I chose pediatrics for so many reasons. I love the honesty, resilience, and fresh insight on the world that children have. I love getting to know parents and families and watching them grow together. I am so thankful for the opportunity to be a part of that journey with families. I really can’t imagine doing anything else.” When she isn’t busy at work she loves spending time with her husband Jeff, and their black lab, Lola. They love being outdoors and enjoy hiking, fishing, kayaking, camping both in the mountains and at the beach. They also enjoy working together in the yard at home and going to church. Louise Twiselton, MD, FAAPAfter finishing medical school at East Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Twiselton completed her pediatric residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. The best thing about caring for children, says Dr. Twiselton, “is helping patients establish good eating and exercise habits during childhood. Teaching children to take care of their health from an early age goes a long way to a healthy adulthood.” Dr. Twiselton has worked at Greensboro Pediatricians since 1995. She is married and has two daughters, not to mention the family schnauzer. “When people ask me what I like to do outside of work, time with my family tops the list,” she said. “After that, I love cooking and reading. I also love to travel. I was born in England, but have lived from Chicago to Belgium to North Carolina, so I suppose travel is in my blood!” |

Carmen Thomas, MD, FAAPDr. Carmen Thomas joined Greensboro Pediatricians in August, 2013. She comes to us with a medical degree from the University of North Carolina School of Medicine and residency training at Duke University Hospitals. Her professional interests include research in medical conditions and well-child care. “When people ask me why I chose pediatrics, I always tell them it’s because children are always learning and growing,” says Dr. Thomas. “I love it that they are inquisitive and curious, and I want to be a part of their growing process.” Dr. Thomas is married to her husband Melvin and enjoys spending time with her nieces and nephews, watching movies and live theatre, reading fiction and spending time with extended family. Lawrence Puzio, MD, FAAPNew Jersey native Dr. Lawrence Puzio brings a wealth of pediatric expertise to Greensboro Pediatricians. A graduate of Johns Hopkins University, Dr. Puzio did his medical degree and his pediatrics residency at Vanderbilt University Medical School. He holds American Academy of Pediatrics Board Certification and maintains interests in pediatric infectious diseases and wilderness medicine. “I decided on pediatrics as my specialty because I love watching children and families grow,” says Dr. Puzio. “Children are both challenging and fun to work with, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to watch them grow through childhood. One of the greatest delights of practicing pediatrics is treating the children of former patients!” Dr. Puzio approaches his free time with the same passion he brings to work. He has many interests, not the least of which is spending time with his wife, son and the family’s Animal Shelter rescue dog. In addition, Dr. Puzio loves to read and enjoys science, woodworking, antique restoration, mountain biking, and home improvement projects. Dr. Puzio makes time to be involved in community affairs as well, including his church – Unitarian-Universalist Church of Greensboro – and is a supporter of Habitat for Humanity and Architectural Salvage of Greensboro. |

Brian O’Kelley, MD, FAAPDr. Brian O’Kelley came home to practice medicine. A native of Greensboro, N.C., Dr. O’Kelley completed his bachelor’s degree at North Carolina State University and his medical degree at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He completed his residency training in pediatrics at the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, Dr. O’Kelley is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. “I chose pediatric medicine because I love working with children and their families. It is such a wonderful privilege to be able to follow children from birth through each of their developmental stages. Every child has their own unique personality, gifts and talents. It’s fun to watch these traits emerge with the families we serve.” Dr. O’Kelley’s wife is a Hematology/Oncology Nurse. He has a daughter, a son, and a Labrador Retriever. When not practicing medicine, Dr. O’Kelley enjoys spending time with his family, running, mountain biking, backpacking, home carpentry projects, and playing guitar. |

Chris Miller, MD, FAAPDr. Chris Miller holds a medical degree from the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill School of Medicine. He completed his residency at Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pa., and is Board Certified with the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Miller also belongs to the American Academy of Pediatrics, Greensboro Medical Society, North Carolina Pediatric Society and the National Medical Association. “I decided to enter pediatrics as my medical specialty because I love developing relationships with families and watching kids grow. Genevieve Mack, DNP, CPNPSince graduating from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in nursing, Dr. Genevieve Mack has pursued a career of excellence as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. In 1999, Dr. Mack completed her master’s in nursing, with a concentration in Pediatric Primary Care. She is an affiliate member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, serves as a Fellow of the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, and is a Board Certified Pediatric Nurse Practitioner. Dr. Mack’s particular area of medical interest is pediatric asthma, and she has served as a consultant for the Bureau of Primary Healthcare’s National Asthma Collaborative II. She has presented numerous times on primary care management of pediatric asthma, and regularly trains and mentors pediatric practices in the implementation of asthma management programs. “My decision to enter pediatrics and pursue a specialty interest in asthma management,” says Dr. Mack, “comes from a three-fold passion for child health advocacy, the science of medicine and nursing and the art of healing.” Dr. Mack enjoys spending her free time with her husband and two school-aged children. In addition, she holds a Black Belt in Tae Kwon Do and enjoys reading, painting and hiking. |

William Clark, MD, FAAPDr. William Clark came to Greensboro Pediatricians in 1995 after earning a bachelor’s degree from North Carolina State University and a medical degree from East Carolina University School of Medicine. He completed his residency in pediatrics at Virginia’s only freestanding pediatric hospital, Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters in Norfolk, Va.
