Louise Twiselton, MD, FAAP

After finishing medical school at East Carolina School of Medicine, Dr. Twiselton completed her pediatric residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Va. The best thing about caring for children, says Dr. Twiselton, “is helping patients establish good eating and exercise habits during childhood. Teaching children to take care of their health from an early age goes a long way to a healthy adulthood.”

Dr. Twiselton has worked at Greensboro Pediatricians since 1995. She is married and has two daughters, not to mention the family schnauzer. “When people ask me what I like to do outside of work, time with my family tops the list,” she said. “After that, I love cooking and reading. I also love to travel. I was born in England, but have lived from Chicago to Belgium to North Carolina, so I suppose travel is in my blood!”
